Going to any music festivals this summer? Megan Romer wrote an article that lists great ways to make the most out of your music festival experience. Some of the include:
Getting Your Tickets Early- Most festivals have tickets for considerably cheaper if you plan ahead and buy early. This can save you more money to be spent elsewhere: Airplane tickets, hotel rooms, food, “concert enhancers” etc.
Don’t Bring Expensive Stuff- Don’t bring along expensive jewelry, electronics, or anything else you wouldn’t want to misplace or have stolen.
Go Easy On The Alcohol- We aren’t saying not to drink, we are all about you having fun, but just be careful on how much you drink. You don’t want to sleep in our be passed out for your favorite band’s set. Also, chances are its going to be hot out and drinking leads to dehydration.
Manage Your Money- If you are going to a multiple-day festival, it probably isn’t wise to spend all of your money on food, albums, and shirts on the first day. Manage your money so that you are able to pick up some merch from a band you really like and still have enough cash left over to make it home.
